About Totema Studio
Hi, we are Totema Studio,
We are an independent video game development studio based in Saguenay, Quebec, Canada. Our specialty is creating multiplayer games that bring people together. We were founded in November 2014 by roommates who shared a common passion for video games. Since then, our vision has emerged and been shaped by a team of programmers, artists, and curious individuals, all motivated by the idea of an innovative and unifying video game.
Over the years, we have participated in several competitions and events, thus strengthening our presence and impact in the video game community. We have won several awards, including second prize in the “Creation and Start-up of Businesses” competition organized by CEE-UQAC in 2015, and first prize in the “Technological Innovation” category of the “Défi OSEntreprendre” in 2016.
We have also participated in several Game Jams, where we have developed game prototypes in 48 hours under various constraints. These experiences have definitely contributed to the innovative and creative culture of our company. Our games have been showcased at various events and conventions.
